On Halloween, the students completed a pumpkin investigation. They measured the height and circumference of the pumpkin, counted how many ribs it had, and counted the number of seeds one pumpkin had. The students counted the seeds by grouping them into sets of ten. The pumpkin had a total of 274 seeds! Wow!
The students also sorted a TON of candy into groups. The groups were salty, crunchy, hard, and chewy. What a fun-filled day we had! A big thanks goes out to our parents for donating pumpkins and candy! We wouldn't have been able to have this fun day without you!! Thank you so much!
